Automatic Updates (or manual) cannot be enabled until you have registered your unit.
Registering the unit will enable the internal SIM card in the unit (like a mobile phone). Then the unit can receive data automatically wothout needing to be connected to a computer.
The unit may take up to 24hours to become enabled. After registration you MUST:
- Plug the 9000 in to the mains to charge
- Switch the unit on
- Wait for the text message from Orange (this requires a GSM / phone signal)
- Once you have received the text message from Orange - reset the unit using the button on the bottom
- The unit can then receive data updates every 2 minutes.
