If you do not have a destination programmed in to Navigation, you will be alerted to traffic events as you drive towards them.
This will appear in the same way a safety / camera alert appears, but the screen will be yellow.
As the unit does not know where your destination will be, the traffic alert you receive may not be relevant to your journey.
