Whilst it is fair to say that this unit has been around for a few years now the price has also come down considerably to offer a product that is great value as a speed camera detector on its own, with the satellite navigation system as a bonus. Unlike other sat nav based products on the market, when not using the actual navigation features, the Navigator 6000 offers a dedicated camera alert mode using up the full screen for clear alerts rather than just plodding along on map mode. This makes it easier to glance at the screen and get a quick understanding of the alert in hand.
